Hailed by critics for both its "sense of discovery and adventure," and its "considerable finesse," the Omer Quartet is a classical quartet on the rise. Last year was a break-out year for the group as it took First Prize in the 2017 Young Concert Artists International Auditions and began its tenure as the Doctoral Fellowship Strong Quartet-in-Residence at the University of Maryland. This season, the quartet is the Ernst Stiefel Quartet-in-Residence at New York's Caramoor Center for Music and Arts and will make its New York City and Washington, D.C. concert debuts.
