    Evergreen Museum & Library's annual spring lecture series, The House Beautiful, presents a trio of illustrated talks by notable experts and authors in the fields of architecture, artistic design, and decorative arts.

    The 2018 series concludes with a talk by Robert A. Baird, a co-founder of Historical Arts & Casting, the firm that recently completed the restoration of the U.S. Capitol's dome and will soon undertake restoration of Evergreen's capitals. Baird will discuss the process of restoring the Capitol dome's 9 million pounds of cast iron after 159 years of service. 

    *Each lecture fulfills 1 Learning Unit of AIA Continuing Education Credit
