If you are changing up your holiday décor this year, please consider recycling your unwanted decorations by donating them to Evergreen Museum & Library. We are in need of period-appropriate items for the historic rooms that harken back to the 1920s–1950s, such as ornaments, faux flowers and greenery, vintage greeting cards, and string lights.

Please note that donations will be reviewed for quality and appropriateness for display. Unaccepted items will be donated to a local charity.

Evergreen’s Doll & Garden Tea Party celebrates the holiday season—and the special bond between child and favorite doll—with an afternoon tea of tasty scones, iced cakes, and other delectable treats in the museum’s elegant Far East Room. Following the festive fête, guests will proceed to the colorful Léon Bakst-designed private theatre to create floral bouquets that honor the famous house’s most secret and enchanting feature: the walled Friendship Garden of Alice Whitridge Garrett. Tours of some of the mansion’s grandest rooms will conclude this special afternoon.
