    Zlatomir Fung, cello

At just 20 years old, American cellist Zlatomir Fung is already on the fast track to classical music stardom. In June 2019, he earned first prize at the International Tchaikovsky Competition with his musically dynamic performances of Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme and Shostakovich’s Cello Concerto No. 2. Currently a full Kovner Fellowship student at The Juilliard School, Fung has appeared as a soloist with the Boston Pops, the New England Philharmoic, and The Juilliard Orchestra conducted by Itzhak Perlman. He also has been featured on NPR's From the Top and Performance Today.

    Xavier Foley, double bass

Double bassist Xavier Foley is a creative force. As the winner of several prestigious performance prizes—and as a soloist with the Atlanta Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Nashville Symphony, among others—his fleetfingered finesse is well recognized. But Foley, a 2016 graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, is also a talented and versatile composer, whose works range in style from Irish folk to futuristic chamber music. Most recently, this Georgia native was named to New York WQXR’s list of “19 for 19” Artists to Watch in the Upcoming Year and featured on PBS Thirteen’s NYC-ARTS.
