ABOUT THE PROGRAM

To celebrate Shakespeare’s Birthday and the 400th anniversary of the first printed collection of his works, Chesapeake Shakespeare Company (CSC) is proud to present a special event, CSC In The Stacks, in conjunction with the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries & University Museums. Staged in Evergreen Museum & Library’s historic Bakst Theatre, audiences will hear a selection of scenes and soliloquies that showcase the brilliance and power of the Bard’s most iconic plays. Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Shakespeare or a newcomer to his work, don’t miss this rare opportunity to see actors engage with the centuries-old text.
